The early May Bank Holiday is almost here and here are all the movies you need to map out an awesome day at Cineworld.
Scroll down to find out more including engagements in special format IMAX, plus Cineworld-exclusive special formats 4DX, ScreenX and Superscreen.
1. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (released May 24th in 2D, IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX and Superscreen)
In 2015's Mad Max; Fury Road, we were blown away by Charlize Theron's portrayal of the implacable Wasteland warrior Imperator Furiosa. Now, we experience the character's explosive big-screen prequel with veteran Mad Max director George Miller back at the helm.
The canvas is a lot more expansive this time around, covering several years in the tortured life of Furiosa as she's kidnapped from the sacred Green Place and sold into servitude. Anya Taylor-Joy adopts a thousand-yard star as the younger Furiosa and Chris Hemsworth has a lot of fun as her barnstorming warlord nemesis, Dementus.
Watch them go to war on the big screen amid a sun-scorched, devastated landscape populated with nightmarish souped-up vehicles and distinguished by nothing less than the drive to survive, no matter the cost.
2. The Garfield Movie (released May 24th in 2D, 4DX and Superscreen)
Chris Pratt voices pop culture's most iconic cat in this fast-paced adventure from veteran Disney animator Mark Dindal (The Emperor's New Groove). Pratt puts his own spin on the laconic Garfield who hates Mondays as much as he loves lasagna. Samuel L. Jackson voices Garfield's uber-cool alley cat father and Nicholas Hoult voices his owner.

3. IF (showing in 2D and Superscreen)
Who remembers their childhood imaginary friends? In which case, stock up on the tissues and prepare for John Krasinski's big-hearted salute to the power of the imagination. Krasinski swerves away from the horror of A Quiet Place for this tender story of a grieving girl and her neighbour (the reliably motor-mouthed Ryan Reynolds) who both share the ability to see IFs ('imaginary friends').
Our two heroes set out to reunite the IFs with their lost human soulmates. Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Krasinski's real-life partner Emily Blunt are just some of the A-listers lending heavyweight vocal support.
4. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (showing in 2D, IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX and Superscreen)
Some 300 years after the death of intelligent ape Caesar (Andy Serkis), a new generation of apes has developed the ability to speak and communicate in sophisticated ways. Humans, meanwhile, have regressed into an even more feral state. It falls to young ape Noa (Owen Teague) and primitive young woman Nova (Freya Allen) to bridge the gap between the two species and prevent all-out war.
Director Wes Ball's sweeping new Apes adventure is purportedly the first part in a new trilogy of films. Watch as it further bridges the gap between the acclaimed Andy Serkis trilogy and the events of the 1968 Charlton Heston classic Planet of the Apes, buoyed by breathless photo-realistic performance capture effects.

5. The Strangers: Chapter 1
Prepare to hide behind your popcorn as you settle into the third instalment of Strangers-related mayhem. When a young couple vacations in a remote cabin, they cannot imagine the horror that awaits them: a group of masked psychopaths who turn the very act of survival into a sadistic game.

6. The Fall Guy (showing in 2D, 4DX and Superscreen)
Ryan Gosling is in irresistibly goofy form in this all-action comedy, which salutes both the power of love and the tireless work of Hollywood stunt performers. Gosling plays Colt Seavers, a veteran stuntman whose attraction to his new movie's director Jody (the equally winning Emily Blunt) is offset by the urgent need to locate the production's missing A-list star.
Stuntman-turned-filmmaker David Leitch keeps the jokes and the set-pieces rolling at a fast and furious rate (the film likely has the best Taylor Swift gag of the year), riffing on the history of Hollywood while further cementing Gosling as a walking meme machine.
