How well do The Little Mermaid stars Melissa McCarthy and Javier Bardem know the Disney brand? We wanted to find out, so we humorously put them to the test in our Cineworld interview, designed to celebrate the release of the latest live-action Disney remake.
McCarthy plays the scheming sea witch Ursula who grants unsuspecting mermaid Ariel (the sensational Halle Bailey) her wish to walk around on land. However, it comes at a price. Bardem plays Ariel's severe but loving father King Triton, ruler of the underwater realm who warns his daughter about what lurks above the surface.
