Join our next Unlimited screening and take part in celebrating a Cineworld record

We're about to cross an all-important milestone for Cineworld Unlimited screenings. Our next preview, Cat Person, will become the 41st Unlimited screening of the year, surpassing the previous record of 40 films in 2019.

Attend the record-setting 41st Unlimited screening so you can take part in celebrating this all-important moment in Unlimited history. Before we introduce Cat Person, here's a flavour of some of the Unlimited movies from this year.

It's not just about being an Unlimited member. It's about being on an exciting journey that allows one to revel in all kinds of emotive big-screen experiences ranging from Oscar-feted dramas to all-action blockbusters. Here's how the journey has shaped up so far.

1. The award-winner: The Whale

At the beginning of the year, Unlimited members had a chance to see The Whale ahead of its release. Brendan Fraser won his first Oscar for his role as Charlie in Darren Aronofsky's piercing drama and the movie generated much positive discussion among Unlimited members.

2. The British comedy: Rye Lane

Ahead of the most recent British comedy Sumotherhood, Unlimited members were feeling the vibes when they saw Rye Lane early. This utterly winning rom-com focuses on two South London strangers making a connection on one important day.

3. The book adaptation: Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret

Judy Blume's landmark pre-teen novel Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret received a sensitive and note-perfect adaptation with a strong cast. Little wonder Unlimited members were highly impressed.

4. The heart-breaker: Past Lives

Celine Song's stunning drama of reconciliation and loss, Past Lives, is being courted for Oscar success. Unlimited audiences lauded its compassion and wisdom.

5. The true story: Dumb Money

The Unlimited crowd was compelled by Dumb Money, the witty, pacy and jaw-dropping dramatisation of the 2021 GameStop short squeeze.

What is the story behind Cat Person?

Expect a topical and chilling exposé on the perils of communication in the digital age, fronted by a talented young cast.

When Margot (Locke and Key's Emilia Jones), a college sophomore goes on a date with the older Robert (Succession's Nicholas Braun), she finds that IRL Robert doesn’t live up to the Robert she has been flirting with over texts.

This one is bound to get the Unlimited crowd talking. It comes from the writer of the acclaimed Booksmart, Susanne Fogel, so one can expect plenty of dark comedy interlaced with shocking moments as well as a talented supporting ensemble including Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers), Michael Gandolfini (Beau is Afraid) and Hope Davis (About Schmidt).
