As you'll no doubt know by now, the long-awaited dinosaur blockbuster Jurassic World Dominion will be stomping and chomping its way into cinemas this Friday (10 June). And if you come to see this all-action thriller at our flagship Cineworld Leicester Square complex at selected screenings during the film's opening weekend, we'll treat you to the most immersive cinematic experience imaginable.
Some critics have hailed Jurassic World Dominion as the most exhilarating and terrifying film in the series – and you'll feel the full impact of this climactic instalment when you step inside Cineworld Leicester Square for one of our special 4DX screenings. Once you've taken your seat, you'll be greeted by a 'tour guide' in an official uniform, who'll provide an introduction to the film and the range of sensory effects you're about to witness.
After that, the lights will dim and your journey into this immersive new realm will begin. As the drama unfolds on the giant screen, you'll live and breathe every moment of it. Experience authentic jungle smells as the film's intrepid heroes move tentatively through thick foliage. Cower behind your popcorn as your seat vibrates to the pounding footsteps of fearsome new predator the Giganotosaurus. And recoil in horror as you're sprayed (don't worry, it's water) at the exact moment the deadly Dilophosaurus spits its venom.

Over the past couple of years, some of the biggest films in cinema history have been transformed by Cineworld's breathtaking 4DX technology, with movie fans getting to enjoy classics such as the original Jurassic Park, Inception and the Harry Potter series with a whole new level of immersion. Tom Cruise's latest blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick is showing in 4DX right now, and at our recent 4DX Creator Day at Cineworld Leicester Square, movie fans filmed their reactions to the experience, before sharing them on TikTok.
But this weekend is all about Jurassic World Dominion. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the sixth and (probably) last instalment in the franchise unites members of the original Jurassic World cast with stars of the more recent Jurassic World films, who find themselves up against a range of ruthless beasts, including aforementioned goliath the Giganotosaurus. It's an action-packed adventure filled with jumps, scares and screams – and presented in 4DX is absolutely thrilling.
