All signs point to filming beginning on the next DC Universe film imminently as Nicholas Hoult reveals he’s shaved his bleach blonde locks ahead of reprising his role as villain Lex Luthor in Man of Tomorrow.
The follow-up to 2025’s summer blockbuster, Superman, starring David Corenswet, Nicholas Hoult sported a shaved head for the film’s notorious villain, and an Instagram story posted by his wife, Bryanna Holly, revealed Hoult had once again come face to face with a pair of clippers, assisted by one of his children. The story included the text, “big, bald, and beautiful. Ready for his return @nicholashoult”.
This is alongside other exciting developments, including the announcement of a new cast member joining Man of Tomorrow. Adria Arjona was reported to be testing for the role of Maxima alongside Grace Van Patten, Sydney Chandler, and Eva De Dominici, and the news is now official that she’ll be entering the DC Universe.

What is the plot for Man of Tomorrow?
While an official synopsis hasn’t been released yet, James Gunn revealed on the Howard Stern Show (via Gizmodo) that the opponents would have to join the same side in order to defeat a bigger threat. He added, “It’s as much a Lex movie as it is a Superman movie.”
