A deadly criminal is hiding in plain sight in the feverishly awaited whodunit sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The movie is on limited release at selected Cineworld cinemas this November.
Rian Johnson's follow-up to his triumphant Knives Out, Glass Onion once again pivots around Daniel Craig's debonair and drawling private detective Benoit Blanc.
Of course, we're not about to give anything away. Suffice it to say that Johnson's twisty and ingenious screenplay is packed with as many surprises as the first movie, if not more.
We've rounded up the wrap sheet of potential suspects that feature in the new Knives Out movie.
Let us stress again: the culprit is one of the people listed below. But who could it be? You'll have to read our feature and then watch the movie to put the pieces together.
1. Miles Bron
- Played by Edward Norton
The reclusive tech billionaire with his own private Greek island getaway, Miles has a devious party game in mind. Who can solve the mystery of his murder?
Little does he know that this amusing parlour diversion will soon be railroaded by an actual crime...
2. Birdie Jay
- Played by Kate Hudson
Birdie is a raucous ex-supermodel turned fashion designer who always makes everything about her.
With outfits as outrageous as her personality, surely Birdie is too obvious a suspect... right?
3. Cassandra Brand
- Played by Janelle Monaé
Cassandra is Miles' former business partner and surely has the most obvious reason for wanting to kill him off for real.
Having been forced out of his business, Cassandra's relationship with Miles is acrimonious to say the least. But is that enough to induce her to murder?
4. Claire Debella
- Played by Kathryn Hahn
Claire is a ruthless politician and go-getter and clearly knows how to work a room to her advantage.
Once the governor of Connecticut, Claire is now setting her ambitions higher and is running for the United States Senate. Could this, in some way, be connected to the events on Miles' private island?
5. Lionel Toussaint
- Played by Leslie Odom Jr.
A scientist who is employed by Miles, Lionel possesses a pragmatic mind and a seemingly mild demeanour.
Well, you know what they say about the quiet ones. In the world of Knives Out, no-one is to be trusted.
6. Peg
- Played by Jessica Henwick
Peg is Birdie's long-suffering assistant and bags a journey to Miles' hideaway as the latter's plus one.
Have the pressures of being a P.A. caused Peggy to crack in some way? Or is she yet to reveal an ulterior motive?
7. Whiskey
- Played by Madelyn Cline
Hot in the world of YouTube, Whiskey is both the girlfriend and business partner of Duke (more on whom below).
8. Duke
- Played by Dave Bautista
An outsized and pig-headed advocate for men's rights with his own crass YouTube channel, Duke has amassed his fair share of enemies.
Might he be about to meet his maker on Miles' private island? Or will he flip the script to become suspect rather than victim?
