It's not every day that one gets to sit down with bonafide Hollywood legend Michael Douglas. And it's certainly not every day that one gets to canvas his opinion on the immersive capabilities of the ScreenX format, exclusive to Cineworld cinemas in the UK.
However, that's exactly what we did when we recently sat down with the Oscar-winning movie veteran who returns as Hank Pym in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. He was joined by co-star Evangeline Lilly, and they both held forth on what they made of ScreenX.
It projects a given movie onto the side walls of the auditorium beyond your peripheral vision. This crafts a truly thrilling and overwhelming 270-degree viewing experience that surrounds you in your seat, and when it comes to Ant-Man, you'll feel like you've stepped into the rule-breaking Quantum Realm for real.
Michael and Evangeline's responses can be watched in the following video clip.
In the third Ant-Man movie, shrinking superhero Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is zapped into the Quantum Realm, where he was stranded for five years.
However, Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) was caught down there for 30 and she warns of an insurgent threat named Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) who, if unleashed, has the capacity to alter the entire course of the multiverse.
If you can't wait to see the movie in ScreenX based on Michael and Evangeline's recommendation, then click here to book your tickets for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
