The Batman has finally landed in Cineworld, and it delivers a bold reinvention of the DC mythology. Robert Pattinson steps into the suit for the first time, assaying a vengeful, haunted Batman who is about to mark his second year working the mean streets of Gotham City.
While on the trail of a mysterious, live-streaming serial killer named The Riddler (Paul Dano), Batman exposes a web of corruption that pierces right to the heart of the Gotham elite. Working with Jim Gordon (Jeffrey Wright), Batman must get to the heart of the mystery before The Riddler brings Gotham to its knees.
Writer/director Matt Reeves envelops us in a rich, Gothic atmosphere, aided by an excellent cast that also includes Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Andy Serkis as Alfred. We were delighted to catch up with both Paul Dano and Jeffrey Wright to discuss the interpretation of their characters, from The Riddler's twisted motives to Gordon's unerring trust in the Dark Knight. Check it out below.
