Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the culmination of 42 years worth of movie history, resolving the epic space saga that George Lucas initiated way back in 1977.
Director J.J. Abrams steers the Skywalker storyline to its dramatic conclusion, while also resolving the current Star Wars trilogy that's encompassed The Force Awakens in 2015 and The Last Jedi in 2017.
As we come to terms with the closure of this chapter in our lives, we at Cineworld wanted to recap the history of the saga so far. Because we can't all be Star Wars experts, right?
