1. Hocus Pocus (26th October)
This whimsical Disney classic is the ideal pre-Halloween treat. Bette Midler is at her most show-stopping and diva-ish as Winifred Sanderson, one of three witchy sisters who are accidentally resurrected on a 20th century Halloween night in Salem, Massachusetts. Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy chew the scenery as the remaining Sanderson sisters – can you resist the opportunity to revisit the saga of Thackeray Binks and the undead Billy the Butcher on the big screen?

2. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone 20th-anniversary re-release (29th October)
Yes, it's true – it was 20 years ago when we took our first steps into the Hogwarts School of Wizardry. Try not to feel too old as the very first Harry Potter movie returns to charm and enchant in equal measure, acting as our delightful introduction to Daniel Radcliffe's titular boy wizard.

3. Blade (29th October)
Long before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even before the first X-Men and Spider-Man movies, there was Blade. Wesley Snipes' ice-cool 'day walker', a man both blessed and cursed with vampiric abilities, stalks and slashes his way through the bloodsucking scourge in this gory and ghoulish adaptation of the Marvel Comics source. With a reboot incoming starring Green Book's Mahershala Ali, now is the perfect time to revisit Blade on the big screen, in a gleaming new 4K restoration, no less.

Wes Craven's witty, post-modern slasher classic is getting a quarter-century re-issue, propelled by Kevin Williamson's smart alec screenplay and a bright young cast of 1990s stars including Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and Drew Barrymore.
