Charlize Theron-Seth Rogen comedy Long Shot screened in advance for Cineworld Unlimited members last night. They play an aspiring Presidential candidate and her scriptwriter, respectively, who must traverse power and gender boundaries to realise their romantic affection for one another.
So what did Unlimited audiences make of the movie? We'll start with this from Simon Winstanley.
A really funny and heart felt Romcom. Super funny but also clever enough and filled with great moments to keep you engaged for the full two hours! God bless Seth Rogen!

Emma@TheMovies lauds the funny and believable chemistry between Theron and Rogen.
Going in I was a little worried it was just going to be awkward humour, but I came out loving it. I laughed, I cried, and I really want to see it again. Theron and Rogen bounce off each other so well. Definitely going to be recommending this to friends.

Dan Lever says the movie has got intelligence to go with its onslaught of laughs.
Excellent film, but don't go and see it with your mum!! Some very funny moments, more than 1 of them in a cringey/embarrassing way. It also has a few pops at the American political system, using valid points about the way the media/corporations influence important decisions! 9/10

Dave Billingsley says it's the apparent mismatch between the two stars that provides much of the film's charm.
Seth Rogen & Charlize Theron may not have been a pairing that you think of straight away, but it works really well. The humour won't necessarily be to everyone's taste, but it's a great film for fans of the two leads, and laugh out loud funny.

Dan Smith says he loved it, although it's not one for the youngsters.
Hey @Sethrogen & @CharlizeAfrica, just got home from a #CineworldUnlimited screening of @LongShotMovie. Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this rom-com for grown ups! The pair of you were brilliant and the soundtrack absolutely kicked arse #LongShot

And Rebecca Downes has a succinct way of describing the movie.
Very daft but good fun. There's Something About Mary with some politics thrown in.
