It's not every day that we play host to Indiana Jones himself. This week, the legendary Harrison Ford took to the red carpet at Cineworld Leicester Square for the UK premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. As you can see from the following highlights video, it was an emotional and significant moment for the veteran Hollywood star who is set to bow out from his signature role as the whip-cracking archaeologist-adventurer.
In the fifth instalment of Indy's adventurers, he finds himself washed up in the 1960s and must battle the Nazis for possession of the Antikythera. It's the dial designed by Archimedes that, rumour has it, can warp and alter time itself. Phoebe Waller-Bridge joins the cast as Indy's goddaughter Helena while James Mangold takes over the directorial reins from Steven Spielberg.
Our highlights reel is bound to stir up nostalgic memories as Ford, Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen discuss their efforts in celebrating Indy's remarkable cinematic legacy. They were joined by series veterans Robert Watts (producer) and Sallah actor John Rhys-Davies, flanked by a newly unveiled bronze statue of the one and only Indiana Jones.
