Actor Austin Butler has got the moves, the style and the vocal chops in the glitzy new biopic, Elvis. Butler plays the titular King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, in a sweeping journey through the changing landscape of 20th-century music.
Moulin Rouge! director Baz Luhrmann orchestrates Presley's meteoric rise and tragic fall with all the colour and pizazz he can muster. However, it's Butler who makes us feel The King's inner pain, as Presley is forced to reconcile super-stardom with the machinations of his calculating manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks).
It's one of the boldest and most memorable career trajectories in the history of popular music, and you're compelled to absorb every facet of Presley's life story on the biggest Cineworld screen you can find.
Go behind the scenes of the movie in the following featurettes to discover Butler's method for getting into character, plus the attention to detail in the costume design and music.
