It's official: 2019 is the year of film, and Cineworld Unlimited members know it too. In fact, we noticed that some Unlimited members set themselves the challenge to make full use of their Unlimited cards by seeing 100 movies in 2019.
So we thought we’d show you just how easy it is to complete the #100FilmsIn2019 challenge by listing just 100 of the epic movies heading your way this year. From comic book

- 45. Pokemon: Detective Pikachu – Pokemon gets a live-action upgrade in this all-action adventure from Goosebumps director Rob Letterman, set in a world where Pokemon and humans co-exist. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds brings his characteristic wit to the role of Pikachu as he teams up with a teenager (Justice Smith) to solve the disappearance of the latter's father. Expect to spend lots of time spotting all the classic franchise characters lurking in the background.
- 46. John Wick 3: Parabellum – Keanu Reeves' sartorially stylish and utterly ruthless assassin is back to battle his way through a multitude of enemies in the third
instalment of the hard-hitting action series. Director Chad Stahelski is back to marshal another onslaught of vicious martial arts action and gunplay as the Continental Hotel's assortment of trained killersassemble en masse to make Wick's life more difficult than ever. - 47. Rocketman – Last year's music biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, exploring the life of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, became the most financially successful of all time. So expectations are sky-high for this story of pop maestro Elton John, a decade-spanning story of his rise to fame with Kingsman's Taron Egerton playing the music icon at several stages of his eventful life.
- 48. Aladdin – Disney's trend of live-action remakes shows no signs of slowing down, as Sherlock Holmes filmmaker Guy Ritchie presents his own interpretation of the studio's 1992 animated classic. Will Smith is our brand new Genie, joining Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. Can this possibly live up to the legacy of Disney's beloved original?
- 49. Godzilla II: King of the Monsters – The Warner Bros/Legendary Pictures 'MonsterVerse' franchise continues with the return of cinema's iconic giant lizard. Following 2014's Godzilla and 2017's Kong: Skull Island, we now get a brand new Godzilla movie in which the irradiated beast battles a host of classic creatures from franchise lore, including King Ghidorah,
Rhodan and Mothra. Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown leads the cast.
- 50. The Hustle – British comedian and The Thick Of It star Chris Addison makes his directorial debut with this remake of the classic 1988 Steve Martin/Michael Caine con man comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. This time, Pitch Perfect's Rebel Wilson and Les Miserables Oscar winner Anne Hathaway are the crafty
duo attempting to outdo one another. - 51. Breakthrough – Based on a remarkable true story, this emotional drama is based on the novel The Impossible, focusing on a young teenager who falls into a coma after slipping through some ice. While his parents pray to God for his recovery, BlacKkKlansman's Topher Grace makes an appearance as the family pastor.
- 52. Ad Astra – Lost City of Z director James Gray heads into space for this epic sci-fi drama, which details a remarkable intergalactic journey to Neptune. Brad Pitt plays the astronaut setting out into the unknown to retrace the steps of his missing father (Tommy Lee Jones), with starry support coming from Donald Sutherland and Ruth Negga.
