Cineworld Cinemas is proud to announce that it has been selected to run the Glasgow Science Centre 380 seat IMAX theatre.
The IMAX theatre will be upgraded and the most sophisticated digital technology to screen the latest blockbuster films as well as other content such as opera, theatre, music and sport.
In addition, there will be a significant focus on supporting the Glasgow Science Centre schools programme and growing admissions to see educational content within the IMAX theatre. Cineworld is planning to install a Starbucks licensed store as part of the refurbishment which will have stunning views of the Quay.

Glasgow Science Centre is a five star fun filled visitor attraction on the banks of the River Clyde. One of Scotland’s must-see visitor attractions the Centre presents concepts of science and technology in unique and inspiring ways.
There are three floors of the Science Mall- home to hundreds of interactive exhibits, spectacular science shows and one of the finest planetariums in Europe. Last year, over 251K people visited the Science Mall and the Centre is on course to finish off the 2011-12 year with record high numbers.
