Tom Holland movie Chaos Walking makes its debut in 2021. The Spider-Man star leads this adaptation of Patrick Ness's young adult novel The Knife of Never Letting Go, which takes place on the distant place of New World.
The planet has been ravaged by an apocalypse that has left it devoid of women. The men, meanwhile, are afflicted by a force that allows them to hear each other's thoughts. This is called Noise, and it defines the lives of New World's inhabitants – until Daisy Ridley's crash survivor Viola turns up. She is unaffected by Noise, setting in motion a desperate battle for survival and answers as she and Todd flee the dangerous Prentiss (Mads Mikkelsen). Nick Jonas and David Oyelowo co-star.
