The Old Man & The Gun
What's the story? THE OLD MAN & THE GUN is based on the true story of Forrest Tucker (Robert Redford), from his audacious escape from San Quentin at the age of 70 to an unprecedented string of heists that confounded authorities and enchanted the public. Wrapped up in the pursuit are detective John Hunt (Casey Affleck), who becomes captivated with Forrest's commitment to his craft, and a woman (Sissy Spacek), who loves him in spite of his chosen profession.

White Boy Rick
What's the story? Set in 1980s Detroit at the height of the crack epidemic and the War on Drugs, WHITE BOY RICK is based on the moving true story of a blue-collar father and his teenage son, Rick Wershe Jr., who became an undercover police informant and later a drug dealer, before he was abandoned by his handlers and sentenced to life in prison.

Tulip Fever (wide release)
What's the story? In 17th Century Amsterdam, an orphaned girl (Alicia Vikander) is forcibly married to a rich and powerful merchant (Christoph Waltz) – an unhappy 'arrangement' that saves her from poverty. After her husband commissions a portrait, she begins a passionate affair with the painter (Dane DeHaan), a struggling young artist. Seeking to escape the merchant's ever-reaching grasp, the lovers risk everything and enter the frenzied tulip bulb market, with the hope that the right bulb will make a fortune and buy their freedom.

What's the story? In an alternate reality of present-day Oakland, California, telemarketer Cassius Green finds himself in a macabre universe after he discovers a magical key that leads to material glory. As Green's career begins to take off, his friends and co-workers organize a protest against corporate oppression. Cassius soon falls under the spell of Steve Lift, a cocaine-snorting CEO who offers him a salary beyond his wildest dreams.

What's the story? Jacek loves heavy metal, his girlfriend and his dog – and his family, his small hometown, his fellow parishioners all see him as an amusing freak. Jacek works at the construction site for what is supposed to become the tallest statue of Jesus in the World but when a severe accident disfigures him completely, all eyes turn to him as he undergoes the first facial transplant in the country.

Kedarnath (Hindi)
What's the story? 'Kedarnath' is a potent combination of love and religion, of passion and spirituality. Set on a 14 kilometre up-hill pilgrimage from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath, the 2000-year-old holy temple of Lord Shiva. Mansoor (Sushant Singh Rajput), a reserved and reticent porter helps pilgrims make an arduous journey upwards to the temple town. His world turns around when he meets the beautiful and rebellious Mukku (Sara Ali Khan) who draws him into a whirlwind of intense love. Destiny has plans for lovers amidst the uncertainties of life, nature and broken hearts.

The King and I from the London Palladium encore performance (Thursday 13th December, 7pm)
What's the story? The multi-award winning and critically acclaimed Lincoln Center Theater' production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King And I comes to cinemas in this unmissable event recorded live from London's iconic Palladium. Reprising her Tony Award-winning role, 'Broadway musical's undisputed Queen' (The Sunday Times) Kelli O'Hara (Anna) takes to the stage alongside Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (The King) in a 'powerhouse' (The Times) performance. Also returning to her Tony Award winning role as Lady Thiang is Ruthie Ann Miles.
