The second trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron will make its debut on 12th January at 8.30PM, American Eastern Standard Time. The preview will be featured during a football game hosted by US TV network ESPN.
No doubt many of you are now wondering, when will it make its international bow? One can only assume that it will appear online shortly afterwards – don't forget there was a furore when the initial release of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens promo was purported to be a USA exclusive.
Regardless, keep an eye out on the blog for it. And bear in mind that the teaser for the second trailer (blimey, these trailers for trailers are getting confusing) has racked up a massive 2 million views since its release on new year's day.
Just goes to show – don't underestimate the public appetite for the Marvel superhero ensemble. It isn't for nothing that Avengers Assemble clocked up more than $1 billion worldwide.
Joss Whedon returns to direct Avengers: Age of Ultron. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner reprise their roles as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, respectively. They're joined by James Spader as Ultron, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver and Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is released on 24th April 2015.
